The aim of this scheme is to provide support for the implementation of the quality systems mentioned above, and covers all hotel and tourist accomodation, as well as leisure centers, which have benefited from the Organization classification, regardless of category, class and capacity The certificates of Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP) are necessary, as issued after 01.04.2007, to satisfy and comply with the requirements of the ISO 22000:2005 standard.
Funding is granted:
1) Hotels of 5, 4 and 3 stars, regardless of capacity. Other hotel businesses and tourist accomodation of a capacity of over 100 beds, regardless of category and class, that have benefited from the Organization classification are funded with the following amounts:
(a) €2.000 for ensuring the HACCP ceritifice according to the requirements of the ISO 22000 standard. An independent fund is granted to ensure the HACCP certificate according to the requirements of the ISO 22000 standard without relating or requiring the certification of the unit with another quality certificate.
(b) €5.000 for ensuring the ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
Additional funds will be allocated as follows:
(c) €2.000 for ensuring the ISO 14001 certificate, and
(d) €3.000 for ensuring the OHSAS 18001:1999 certificate.
2) All other categories and classes of hotel and tourist accomodation, regardless of capacity, and all the categories and classes of leisure centers, which have benefited from the Organization classification, are funded with the folloiwng amounts:
(a) €2.000 for ensuring the HACCP certificate according to the requirements of the ISO 22000 standard. An independent grant is funded to ensure the HACCP certificate according to the requirements of the ISO 22000 standard without relating or requiring the certification of the unit with another quality certificate.
(b) €2.000 for ensuring the ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
Additional funds will be allocated as follows:
(c) €1.500 for ensuring the ISO 14001 certificate, and
(d) €1.500 for ensuring the OHSAS 18001:1999 certificate.
It is clarified that the above additional benefits [paragraphs (c) και (d)] will be granted only after first ensuring the ISO 9001:2000 certificate.
