The overall purpose of this scheme is the provision of incentives for the retention of young people in the countryside and the renewal of rural population.
The main individual purposes of this scheme are:
• Increase to the size of agricultural holdings and improvement of their competitiveness
• Creation of sustainable, competitive agricultural holdings leaded by younger people, who are more susceptible to the use of new technology
• Revitalization of rural population
• Limitation of urbanization
• Conservation and economic development of rural areas.
The scheme is addressed to natural or legal entities, active in the field of Agriculture and Livestock and is directly linked to the scheme 1.5.1 (Investments in Agricultural Holdings) including:
• Tree Crops
• Vegetables/Potato Crops/ Floriculture/ Aromatic Plants
• Arable crops
• Mushroom farming
• Cattle breeding
• Sheep and Goat breeding
• Pig breeding
• Poultry/Rabbit breeding
• Beekeeping
• Fencing crops to protect them from mouflons
Eligible Expenditure Financing:
• Installment of a new farmer
The amount of funding depends on the business plan of each farmer and the investments expected to make, raning between the following:
• € 25.000 (Less Favoured Areas) or € 20.000 (Other Areas) if the investment is expected to reach up to €100.000
• € 30.000 (Less Favoured Areas) or € 25.000 (Other Areas) if the investment is expected to reach up to €100.000 – €180.000
• € 35.000 (Less Favoured Areas) or € 30.000 (Other Areas) if the investment is expected to reach up to €180.000 – €300.000
• € 40.000 (Less Favoured Areas) or € 35.000 (Other Areas) if the investment is expected to reach up to €300.000
