Teachers’ HAVEN – Teachers Haven Academy for promoting professional Versatility, inner Equilibrium and Networking

Project Aim:

Teachers’ HAVEN Academy aims to provide a complete high quality, research-based training course and support system for teachers in training and teachers in the profession.

Project Objectives:

The project focuses on achieving its aims through three main pillars:

1. Provide methods, tools, and resources to improve occupational well-being and foster personal development
2. Design and develop a training course aimed at increasing teachers’ professional skills and self-efficacy (incl. class management skills, relationship management and didactic and pedagogical skills)
3. Create a network and build a community of experienced teachers, experts, peers, that can provide support, orientation and counselling to teachers in training and professional teachers

Key results:

1. The Academy e-learning platform (WSEI e-learning platform) – The Teachers’ HAVEN Academy’s e-learning platform, hosted by WSEI University, offers an interactive and accessible digital space featuring self-study modules, video lessons, and live lectures designed to support teachers’ well-being and professional self-efficacy.
2. Teachers’ Haven website – The Teachers’ HAVEN website serves as the central hub for project information, resources, news, and engagement opportunities, available in all partner languages while enhancing the project’s visibility and impact.
3. Three Teachers’ Haven annual congresses in Cyprus, Portugal, and Italy
4. Two international Teachers’ Sanctuary bootcamps in Romania and Italy
5. Local Teachers’ Sanctuary bootcamps in the participating countries
