The chance for the future mobility project, is part of the ALMA initiative from the European Commission. Its main goal is the vocational activation and improved access to the labour market of young Polish people. Vocational Education and Training equip people with the necessary skills needed for jobs that are based in manual or practical activities and are traditionally non-academic. This will be done by implementing a comprehensive program covering the acquisition of knowledge and professional experience during vocational internships in Cyprus in 2025. The internships will take place in establishments of the tourism industry, such as hotels and restaurants.
Target Group:
48 Polish young people aged 18-29 who belong to the NEET category:
– not working (unemployed or economically inactive)
– are not in full-time or part-time formal education
– do not train
Project Objectives:
- Create an individual action plan to identify each participant’s placements needs
- Prepare participants before the placement through various initiatives such as interpersonal development skills workshops and language courses
- Implementation of internship in Cyprus
- Improved access to the labour market for the participants
