Be one of the employers who will receive the Inclusive Employer Ambassador certification by participating in the project’s piloting phase.
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. It is characterised by damage to myelin, the protective substance that surrounds nerve fibres, leading to a variety of symptoms such as weakness, impaired movement and speech, and vision problems. Its causes remain unknown, but they are attributed to genetic and environmental factors. The disease has transient episodes and can progress to severe disabilities.
The goal of the ShapeMS project is to provide the resources, information and tools to help young adults with MS stay in the workforce as long as possible. It also aims to raise awareness, educate employers and teach them on how to provide relevant accommodations for workers with MS. Therefore, a Learning Management System (LMS) platform has been developed to cover all professional aspects related to people with MS as well as employers, thus targeting the issue in a comprehensive way.
Piloting phase
In addition, the ShapeMS project developed an inclusive ambassador certification program for employers. This program contains various benefits for employers that participate in the piloting phase. Through your participation, based on certain requirements, you will be able to earn three different Inclusive Ambassador badges and you can obtain certification as an inclusive employer, promotion of your company through the project websites, support from the project consortium on employee inclusion issues, inclusion in the project’s solidarity network and advice on funding opportunities.
Participants’ organizations will be promoted in a national and European level as inclusive ambassadors for people with Multiple Sclerosis and disabilities!
