Piloting Phase

GUIDE Project: Piloting Phase of Online Training Program (OTP)

Across Europe and beyond, young people are making daily decisions about their studies, their careers, and the contributions they want to make to society. Yet, even in 2025, these choices are still too often shaped by invisible barriers: entrenched gender stereotypes that influence how people see themselves and how they are perceived by others.

The GUIDE project, an ambitious initiative co-funded by the European Commission, is working to transform career guidance into a driver of genuine gender equality. We are excited to announce that the piloting phase of our Online Training Program on Gender-Sensitive Career Guidance (GSCG) is still open—and we want YOU to be part of it!

Why Get Involved?

This is more than just a trial run. The piloting is a chance to co-create a program that will soon be freely accessible to professionals across Europe. By taking part, you will:

  • Access high-quality training in your local language—completely free of charge;
  • Learn flexibly through live sessions (online or in person) or independently at your own pace;
  • Gain innovative tools to better support young people in making empowered choices;
  • Directly influence the final design of the program through your feedback;
  • Join a European network of educators, ounsellors, and HR professionals committed to breaking down stereotypes and building inclusive futures.

The piloting is running in nine European countries, each aiming to reach at least 25 professionals. But we need more voices and more perspectives—your participation matters!

What’s Expected?

Participants should go through the platform and test the material developed and then fill out a short evaluation form to share their impressions, insights, and suggestions. Your input will help shape the final version of the GUIDE training. The piloting is open until the 30th of September—so now is the time to step in and make your voice heard.

What’s Inside the Training?

The program combines short video lectures, reflective exercises, downloadable tools, and interactive activities. You’ll explore resources like the “visualisation game,” which reveals how stereotypes influence our mental images of professions, and the “co-creation dialogue cards,” designed to help students openly express their motivations and challenges.

You’ll also have the chance to test earlier project tools such as the Self-Assessment Tool and Co-Creation Counseling Tool, adding depth and variety to your practice.

Above all, the training is practical, free, and ready to use in real settings—whether you work in schools, vocational training, job counseling, or HR.

Be Part of the Change

At GUIDE, we believe in a future where every person can follow their professional ambitions free from gender-based expectations. Change starts with those who guide and support others. By joining this piloting phase, you are not only developing your own skills—you are helping to co-create a future where gender never limits potential.

The piloting runs until 30 September—don’t miss your chance to take part. Let’s challenge stereotypes. Let’s open doors. Let’s GUIDE the way to equality.
