Over the past three years, the AGORA project has united nine partners from across Europe to explore how tourism can go beyond sustainability – towards regeneration. The project’s mission has been to empower destinations, communities, and tourism professionals to design experiences that restore ecosystems, strengthen local resilience, and create shared value.
Through extensive research, capacity-building, and co-creation workshops on the ground, AGORA has developed practical tools, insights, and policy recommendations for those who wish to integrate regenerative principles into tourism strategies.
This final virtual event marks the culmination of our journey — and the beginning of new ones. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Discover the key outcomes and resources developed under the AGORA project
- Hear from experts and partners about how regenerative tourism is being applied in practice
- Explore how regenerative thinking can strengthen destination resilience and community wellbeing
