We-Europeans aims counter populism by an approach that builds on positive narratives and the values of EU citizenship (respect for human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law), that combines factual and emotional level and that creates a new spirit of optimism and cooperation/networking.
Objectives:
-To help actors from education, politics, media, science and civil society to exchange and develop transnational and interdisciplinary strategies against populism.
– To concrete, support and encourage people who are confronted by populism in their everyday lives
The project’s results are:
- Community of practice to be established at a LTTA (Learning, Teaching, Training Activity) with regular face-to-face and online meetings as well as online exchange option at European/International level.
- Toolbox for actors related to European citizenship with good practices, blog articles and also a MOOC.
- We-Europeans Web Platform for people that are confronts with populism in their daily lives.
The project consortium consists of partners from Cyprus (Eurosuccess Consulting), Germany (coordinator), Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Poland and Portugal.
