A Meeting of Vision and Action in the VET Sector with a focus on Wellbeing
The EfVET Annual Conference 2025 once again proved to be a milestone event for the European VET community. Hosted in Fatima, Portugal, the conference brought together policymakers, educators, and innovators shaping the future of skills, inclusion, and digital transformation in Europe.
The event opened with remarks from Joachim James Calleja, President of EfVET, and Stefano Tirati, Vice President for Outreach, alongside Luis Costa, Executive Director of ANESPO, and Elisabete Marques from Fátima Hospitality School. A special welcome message was delivered by Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills at the European Commission, setting the tone for a conference deeply rooted in collaboration and European values.
High-level discussions followed, including a Policy Panel moderated by Stylianos Mavromoustakos (Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes), with speakers from CEDEFOP, EURASHE, EVTA, and leading VET institutions across Europe. Parallel Panel Discussions, moderated by Joao Santos, explored the role of communication, wellbeing, and innovation in shaping the future of vocational education.
Eurosuccess Consulting Co-Hosts Two Engaging Sessions
Among the many highlights of the conference, Eurosuccess Consulting, together with OIC Poland Foundation, co-hosted two interactive sessions that stood out for their focus on accessibility, inclusion, and wellbeing in the workplace.
A. Roundtable: DigAccessAgrotourism – Digital Transition for Accessible Agrotourism
The roundtable introduced the DigAccessAgrotourism project (Grant Agreement No. 101167990), co-funded under the SMP-COSME-2023-SEED call. The initiative aims to empower social economy enterprises and SMEs in the agrotourism sector to advance their digitalisation journey while ensuring universal accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
Participants engaged in a lively discussion around the Framework for Digital Transition in Agrotourism Organisations, which captures the needs and good practices of rural tourism enterprises across Poland, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and Portugal.
B. Workshop: Hybrid Harmony – Thriving Through Psychological Safety
The Hybrid Harmony Workshop, co-led by Irini Iacovidou, Head of the Projects Department at Eurosuccess Consulting, and Dr. Ewelina Iwanek, President of the Board of OIC Poland Foundation, focused on building psychological safety within hybrid and dispersed teams; an essential foundation for wellbeing, productivity, and collaboration.
Through interactive exercises, participants reflected on what it means to create a culture of openness and trust, drawing on insights from Amy Edmondson’s “The Fearless Organization” and Google’s Project Aristotle. The workshop showcased tools and frameworks developed under the Erasmus+ project WellbeINTeam, including a Team Psychological Safety Measurement Tool, an Organizational Toolbox, and an AI-supported web-based training programme for hybrid teams.
A Commitment to Inclusion and Wellbeing
Both sessions demonstrated Eurosuccess Consulting’s commitment to combining digital transformation with human-centered development. By addressing two core challenges — digital accessibility in rural economies and wellbeing in hybrid work — Eurosuccess continues to bridge innovation and inclusion across Europe.
Through its active role at the EfVET Annual Conference 2025, Eurosuccess Consulting reaffirmed its position as a trusted partner in European cooperation, contributing to the shared vision of a more inclusive, sustainable, and digitally empowered VET ecosystem.
