{"id":757,"date":"2014-07-07T11:17:21","date_gmt":"2014-07-07T11:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euros.demo314.eu\/scheme-for-strengthening-laboraty-infrastructure-in-cyprus\/"},"modified":"2022-01-05T08:59:23","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T08:59:23","slug":"138-scheme-for-strengthening-laboraty-infrastructure-in-cyprus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eurosc.eu\/en\/schemes\/138-scheme-for-strengthening-laboraty-infrastructure-in-cyprus\/","title":{"rendered":"Scheme for Strengthening Laboraty Infrastructure in Cyprus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scheme is addressed to enterprises of all capacities, that had, are, or will carry out expenditures for the creation or the expansion of laboratories for control\/testing\/analysis of products and calibration of equipment\/tests for running tests, which operate as separate legal entities or manufacturing units.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The following cases are excluded:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Enterprises which are active in fisheries and aquaculture<\/li>\n<li>Dysfuntioning enterprises, under communal guidelines regarding State funding for rescuing and restructuring such enterprises<\/li>\n<li>Clinical laboratories<\/li>\n<li>Enterprises involved with repairing of products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Eligible Expenditure Funding:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Laboratory machinery and equipment:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Machinery\/equipment\/monitoring equipment, for the testing and analyzing of products, including materialistic and software material.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Machinery\/equipment\/instruments\/calibration standards including hardware and software.<\/li>\n<li>Devices for monitoring the environment\/ambience of the laboratory (heat,humidity,pollution).<\/li>\n<li>Equipment\/calibration devices that regulate the emission of pollutants in the atmosphere.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting equipment (mobile laboratory units, ensuring a healthy environment, fire-proof generators).<\/li>\n<li>Investment equipment for specialized laboratory space surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe laboratory area includes only the areas where testing, analyzing and calibration take place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is noted that laboratory machinery and equipment should not be rented to third-parties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Percentage of funding for machinery and equipment: 30%<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Maximum amount granted for each company : 100.000 euros<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Premises<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Premises for laboratory space.<\/li>\n<li>Premises for offices\/conference room\/presentation areas\/ fairgrounds, which serve the laboratory, provided that they do not include more than\u00a0<strong>10%<\/strong>\u00a0of the overall space.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Percentage of funding for premises: 30%<\/p>\n<p>Maximum amount granted for each company: \u20ac68.000<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Accreditation<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Consulting services by external consultants to prepare the laboratory for accreditation.<\/li>\n<li>Accreditation of the laboratory by the Cyprus Accreditation Body or any other recognized body of any European Country.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>The amount of funding for accreditation for each company is 32.000 euros:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">50% of the cost for consulting services with a maximum of 20.000 euros granted<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">50% of the cost for accreditation with a maximum of 12.000 euros granted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The scheme is addressed to enterprises of all capacities, that had, are, or will carry out expenditures for the creation or the expansion of laboratories for control\/testing\/analysis of products and calibration of equipment\/tests for running tests, which operate as separate legal entities or manufacturing units.
