The Teachers\u2019 HAVEN<\/strong><\/em><\/a> consortium is preparing for its 2nd Transnational Project Meetin<\/strong>g<\/strong>, taking place on 27\u201328 November 2025<\/strong> in the city of Salamanca, Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This two-day meeting marks a significant transition point<\/strong> in the project, as partners will come together to reflect on progress made<\/strong> and begin the next major phase: the development of training content and tools<\/strong> that will directly support teachers across Europe.<\/p>\n

Closing the Fieldwork Chapter<\/strong><\/p>\n

After several months of in-depth research<\/strong> conducted in all partner countries, the project is now finalising its Needs Analysis Report<\/strong>. This research included online questionnaires<\/strong>, focus groups<\/strong> with both in-training and in-service teachers<\/strong>, interviews with school headmasters<\/strong>, and roundtable discussions with key stakeholders<\/strong>, such as educational authorities, policy experts, and school leaders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The findings from this comprehensive fieldwork<\/strong> offer valuable insights<\/strong> into the current state of teachers\u2019 working conditions<\/strong>, professional challenges<\/strong>, and emotional well-being<\/strong>. This data forms the foundation of the project\u2019s next phase<\/strong> and confirms the need for targeted interventions<\/strong> in three interconnected areas<\/strong>: occupational well-being<\/strong>, professional self-efficacy<\/strong>, and social support systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Moving Into Development: Training and Empowerment<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the fieldwork phase concluding<\/strong>, the Salamanca meeting will officially launch the next work packages with the focus shifting on the design of a personal development programme<\/strong> for teachers and the creation of training modules<\/strong> that respond to the needs identified during the fieldwork study.<\/p>\n

The training programme will address the three pillars of the Teachers\u2019 HAVEN project<\/strong>:
\n\u2022 Occupational well-being<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Teachers\u2019 self-efficacy<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Social connectedness and peer support<\/strong><\/p>\n

These resources will be hosted and delivered<\/strong> through the Teachers\u2019 HAVEN Academy<\/strong>, an online platform<\/strong> designed to offer structured, practical support<\/strong> to teachers in all partner countries.<\/p>\n

Supporting the People at the Heart of Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Teachers\u2019 HAVEN<\/em> project recognises that improving teacher well-being<\/strong> is not only beneficial to individual educators<\/strong>, but is critical to the future<\/strong> of inclusive<\/strong>, resilient<\/strong>, and effective education systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With the research phase nearly complete<\/strong>, the Salamanca meeting represents a key step toward building tools and structures<\/strong> that empower educators<\/strong> in meaningful, sustainable ways<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
