Scheme with Unemployed Individuals

This scheme offers businesses the opportunity to hire long-term unemployed individuals (registered for more than 6 consecutive months at the Employment Office) who have had permanent residence in the Republic of Cyprus for the last 5 years, with subsidies. The subsidy covers a percentage of the graduate’s salary, the trainer’s salary, and the operational expenses for their training, for a period of up to 3 months.

Maximum subsidy: €1200 per month.

Note: Employees already hired by the company who can join the above scheme must not receive Social Insurance for more than two months.
