The MICROIDEA project is building on project results based on prior scientific policy measures (Active Labour Market Policies and the open context projects initiatives). The aim of the project is to introduce a holistic methodology for establishing the principles for designing, issuing, assessing, validate and certify micro-credentials that are commonly recognised in a European level and integrate them into the existing quality assurance systems.
Project Objectives:
- To develop a micro-credential system that would be linked to 17024 ISO.
- To develop a methodology to balance between National certification systems (when they exist mainly for non-formal VET) and the international validation/certification system (17024 ISO).
- To design and implement an online tool to underpin the skills needs analysis.
- To implement the introduced micro-credential system for an occupation in the Tourism sector.
- The communicate, disseminate and exploit the project outputs and results to ensure the continuity of the project’s impacts and influence after its completion on relevant European policies.
