Giorgos Giorgakis is the founder and Managing Director of Eurosuccess Consulting. He has graduated from the European University of Cyprus, with a Master Degree (MBA) in Business Administration in July 2008. He has developed, managed and implemented more than 85 EU and National projects (FP, LLP, JUSTICE, ERASMUS +, COSME, RIF etc.) Mr Giorgakis is also the Coordinator of the VET and training activities for Eurosuccess, which is accredited as VET Center by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus – the relevant public authority as regards to training and education. As regards to the participation of professional bodies and associations at EU level, Mr Giorgakis is the National Representative for Cyprus, at European Forum of Vocational Education and Training (EfVET). Under this capacity, Mr Giorgakis is actively participating into various working groups, trainings, events and conferences contributing in this way to the development of the EU strategies as well as supporting all relevant organizations, in Cyprus and abroad.
Katerina Markidou is a Business Development Consultant. She is an MBA holder from the University of Nicosia and she also has a bachelor degree in Sociology from Panteion University, specializing in criminology, crime prevention, drug abuse (laws and policies), sociology development, sociology of education and education. She has previously worked for the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus, specifically on national recruitment funded schemes for unemployed and young people. She has been actively involved in the preparation and implementation of funding programs and other opportunities for SMEs and Organizations, mainly in the development and training of Human Resources, through research and innovative programs. She is also responsible for the preparation of financial reports of the European programs in which the company participates as well as for the various certifications of the organization where she has a supportive role. Katerina, is managing different dissemination activities of the organization, including the frequent update of various websites of the organization.
Marianna Araouzou is the Projects Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in European Studies and Modern Languages, with a Minor Degree in Political Sciences from the University of Cyprus and a Master’s Degree in International Development from the University of Manchester. She is specialized in migration issues as well as on rising powers and political systems of the EU. Marianna is fluent in Greek and English as well as she has a good command of the French language. Previously, she has worked as a customer service advisor, which helped her evolve her communication and social skills. She is a member of various NGOs in Cyprus and has participated in a number of seminars concerning mainly the EU activities and policies.
Vasileios Poulikakos is a Project Manager. He has a bachelor degree in Agriculture, and an integrated master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki specializing in Agricultural Financing and Investment Evaluation, Macroeconomics, Natural resource and environmental economics. He also holds a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University in Glasgow focusing on: Development Policy, Policies for Sustainability and Development, Theory and Principles of Sustainability and Project Planning Appraisal and Implementation. He has previously worked as an Assistant Environmental Consultant at the General Directorate of Agricultural Economy at Central Macedonia working on research and analysis on the status of climate change policies, strategies and communications with project partners and communications with relevant ministries. He has participated to the European funded program Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.
Vasileia Filippou is a Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Education from the University of Cyprus, focusing on innovative teaching techniques and the impact of argumentation process on the National Science Curriculum. She is also a holder of a Master's in International Education and Globalization from the University of Bath, UK, specializing in qualitative research on International Schools across the globe and the implementation of good teaching practices on National Teaching method. Vasilia has previously worked as a Primary School Teacher at several private schools and afternoon clubs in Cyprus as well as a Private Tutor for special kids. Vasilia is fluent in Greek and English as well as she has a very good command of the French language. She strongly believes in the power of education and the great changes the world can achieve by giving the students the right skills and knowledge. She has been a part of Erasmus's projects since her school years and she very well understands the great achievements a multicultural consortium can achieve.
Ourania Markou is a Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Pedagogy, focused in Pedagogy, and a Master’s Degree in Education Sciences specializing in Theory, Methodology and Evaluation in Education from University of Nicosia. She is fluent in Greek and English. Her previous experience in multinational companies in the field of Human Resource and Customer Service, helped her develop further communication and social skills and adopt in different environments. She has collaborated with NGOs in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility actions and she is aware of social issues. Through her action she hopes to contributes to the improvement of social and educational matters.
Stella Sotiriou is a Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies at the University of Cyprus and continued her post-graduate studies in European Studies at the department of French and European Studies, with a focus on Gender Studies. During her academic years, she had the opportunity to work on various projects related to social issues, such as migration and gender inequality. She has previously worked as a Postgraduate Assistant in the department of French and European Studies and as a Special Scientist in the research program and European project IMsyPP - Innovative Monitoring Systems and Prevention Policies of Online Hate Speech, which helped her to develop her communication and team skills. Stella is fluent in Greek and English as well as she has a good knowledge of Spanish language.
Sophia Demetriou is a Marketing & Networking Officer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Special & Inclusive Education, from the University of Cyprus. Sophia has gained valuable knowledge while she was working in the field of marketing, during the previous years. She has also worked in the field of Customer Service and as an HR Manager as well. Through her employment experiences, she managed to strongly improve her communication, social and leadership skills.
Rafaela Orphanides is a Project Manager and Researcher. She obtained her PhD in Media, Culture and, Communications from Loughborough University, UK. She also holds a Master’s degree in Media and Public Relations from Leicester University, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool education from University of Cyprus. Rafaela has extensive experience from Universities in the UK and Cyprus in developing and teaching modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a multitude of areas including Media, Communication and Culture. Moreover, Rafaela has experience in the design, development, defense, and implementation of Programmes of study which follow International high standards and are in accordance with the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education’s (CYQAA) guidelines. Her research has been externally recognised for its research quality and parts of it are due to be published in high-quality Scopus Journals and Books. Her previous work experience along with her participation in relevant seminars and trainings allowed her to develop and enhance her research, communication and team-player skills. Rafaela is fluent in Greek and English, while she also has a good command of the French language.
Mary Orfanou is a Project Manager-Researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus, focusing on English Literature and Culture. Mairi has previously worked as an English Language Teacher at a local afternoon club. Her experience as a teacher has helped her develop her ability to adapt and effectively present information to different kinds of crowds and individuals. She has previously taken part in Erasmus+ exchange programs both during school and university. Therefore, she believes that this has helped her broaden her horizons and further cultivate her communication skills. She is fluent in English and Greek and has a good grasp of the French Language. Additionally, she is passionate about social and cultural matters and initiatives.
Vasiliki Vogiatzi is a Project Manager and Researcher. She has graduated from the Faculty of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and now she is attending a Master’s in European Policies on Youth, Entrepreneurship, Education and Culture at the University of Macedonia. Also, she has done her internship at UNESCO and Jean Monet Chair of University of Macedonia, about Intercultural Policy, and during her participation in Erasmus+ Programs. She is fluent in Greek and English and she has a very good knowledge of French. She has worked in the sector of education and also in customer service. Finally, she has done volunteering at an NGO with refugees and at a Youth Organization participating in several events with social impact.
