The purpose of this program is to provide professional training and instructing to newly-recruited unemployed people, without any previous experience, in the hotel industry, aiming towards their employment in hotel units.
The beneficiaries are:
(a) unemployed, registered at the offices of the Public Employment Service for at least twelve (12) consecutive months and who had not previously been employed in the hotel industry,
(b) All Hotel Units
The professional training and instructing programs will be conducted internally in the Hotel Units and/or other Units by certified instructors and/or the Higher Hotel Institute and will last two months.
The unemployed who will participate in the training will be provided with an allowance of 125 euros per week. The hotel units that will join the program and will provide an internal training will be provided with compensation for the costs of organizing and implementing the training programs, including the cost for trainers as well. In the cases where training will be conducted in other hotel units, the compensation will be provided solely to those units. In both cases, the compensation will amount to 100 euros per trainee, on a monthly basis.
