The Fit for the Future project held its highly anticipated kick-off meeting, bringing together partners from various organizations to establish a solid foundation for the project’s objectives and collaborative efforts. Specifically, 8 partners from 7 European countries: France, Spain, Cyprus (Eurosuccess Consulting), Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Germany, came together in Bastia (France) on February 13th!
The meeting covered essential aspects such as project management, quality assurance, dissemination strategies, and the development of the online check-up list/self-assessment tool and database aimed at promoting regenerative leadership.
The main objectives of the project are to:
- Raise awareness among managers and staff on the importance of using a system thinking approach to support diversity and non-discrimination in workplaces and study environments.
- Promote a dynamic and diverse organisational culture by integrating system thinking, good practices, case studies, and tools to identify and address biases.
- Assess and tackle workplace or study environment biases using a check-up matrix.
- Train regenerative leaders to develop diversity and inclusion strategies providing advice on gender inclusiveness and regenerative practices.
- Introduce new approaches to address diversity issues through awareness campaigns and training for local communities and stakeholders.
Next Steps
The Fit for the Future project is now set in motion with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and deadlines. Partners were encouraged to stay engaged, meet assigned deadlines, and maintain active communication to ensure the successful implementation of project activities. The next online meeting will focus on reviewing initial data collection efforts and refining dissemination strategies.
Let’s collaborate effectively to drive this initiative forward!
