The Fit for the Future project is moving into a dynamic new phase as work intensifies on two of its core digital outputs: the Fit Lab Database, soon to be enriched with interviews, good practices, and case studies, and the Online Self-Assessment Tool, designed to help organisations evaluate and strengthen their inclusion practices. These tools will form the heart of our digital ecosystem, supporting leaders, educators, SMEs, and organisations across Europe in adopting regenerative, inclusive approaches to work and learning.
To advance these developments, the consortium gathered for its Second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) on 23 October 2025 in Aveiro, Portugal, hosted by the University of Aveiro. The meeting provided an important opportunity to review progress, refine methodologies, and agree on shared technical and content standards for the project’s upcoming digital resources.
Collaborative Progress on FITLAB and the Self-Assessment Tool
During TPM2, partners worked intensively on the structure and content of the Fit Lab Database, which will soon host a rich collection of:
- Interviews with leaders, educators, and practitioners
- Good practices from across Europe
- Case studies showcasing real-world examples of inclusive and regenerative workplace cultures
In parallel, significant steps were made in shaping the Online Self-Assessment Tool, a practical digital instrument that will help organisations assess their maturity across key dimensions of inclusion, bias awareness, and regenerative leadership. The Tool will be directly connected to the FITLAB Database so that users receive personalised recommendations based on their results.
A Strong and Diverse European Partnership
The work carried out in Aveiro builds on the combined expertise of a committed consortium spanning eight European countries:
- BGE Corse (France): A leading regional consulting and training network supporting entrepreneurship and skills development, with over 30 years of experience.
- Edensol (Italy): A multidisciplinary organisation specialising in education, research, digital innovation, pedagogy, and social well-being.
- Eurosuccess Consulting (Cyprus): A VET-accredited organisation offering project management, training, and capacity-building for diverse social groups and institutions.
- Upwell (Italy): A digital agency focused on branding, promotion, event organisation, and the development of skills within wine, tourism, and sustainable development sectors.
- EMVIO (Greece): A non-profit organisation promoting social solidarity, cultural development, environmental awareness, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.
- University of Aveiro (Portugal): A Portuguese university recognised for its innovation, research excellence, and strong cooperation with regional and national actors.
- Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft (Germany): A certified training and mobility centre promoting lifelong learning, intercultural understanding, and high-quality educational practices.
- Italian Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona – CCIB (Spain): A long-established organisation strengthening economic cooperation and internationalisation between Italian, Spanish, and European enterprises.
This broad expertise ensures that Fit for the Future reflects diverse realities, workplace cultures, and inclusion practices across Europe.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, partners will finalise the digital FITLAB space, complete the remaining interviews and good practices, and continue the development of the Self-Assessment Tool. Early 2026 will also mark the delivery of the first International Webinar, focusing on Systems Thinking for Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace.
Fit for the Future continues to strengthen its mission: to support organisations in recognising, understanding, and transforming workplace biases through research-based tools, regenerative leadership practices, and innovative learning opportunities.
